Most cert prep is built the same way: dump a bunch of content on you, throw in some practice questions, and hope for the best. It works for some people. It didn't work for us.
We kept running into the same problem — people who clearly knew the material were still failing exams. Not because they were underprepared, but because the exam was asking them to think in a way they hadn't practiced. ISACA wants you to think like a risk manager. ISC2 wants you to think like a CISO. CompTIA wants baseline technical competence. Each exam body has a perspective, and if you're not aligned with it, you're guessing.
TheCertCoach is our attempt to fix that. Every module, every practice question, every review is built around understanding how the exam expects you to think — not just what it expects you to know.

How We Think About Prep
Go Deep, Not Wide
You don't need to cover every topic at surface level. You need to actually understand the ones that show up on the exam. We'd rather you nail 5 concepts than skim 50.
Tell You the Truth
If you're not ready, we'll say so. The readiness checks aren't there to make you feel good — they're there to keep you from wasting $575 on an exam you're going to fail.
Make You Practice
Reading about risk frameworks is not the same as working through a scenario where two answers both look right. That's where the real learning happens, and it's where we spend most of our time.
Skip the Filler
