ISACA requires 5 years of information security management experience, with substitutions and waivers available. You can take the exam before meeting the experience requirement.

ISACA requires 3 years of IT risk management experience across at least 2 of the 4 CRISC domains. You can take the exam before meeting the experience requirement.

Security+ is $404 USD. CRISC and CISM are $575 USD for ISACA members or $760 for non-members (ISACA membership is $175/year). CISSP is $749 USD.

CISM and CRISC each have 150 multiple-choice questions (4 hours, pass at 450/800). CISSP uses CAT adaptive format with 100–150 questions (3 hours, pass at 700/1000). Security+ has up to 90 questions including performance-based items (90 minutes, pass at 750/900).

Both are live now. Security+ has 61 modules across 5 domains, and CISSP has 84 modules across all 8 domains. Each includes section reviews, domain capstones, and a full practice exam.
