By using TheCertCoach, you're agreeing to these terms. They're written in plain language because we'd rather you actually read them.

What TheCertCoach Is

TheCertCoach is a certification coaching platform. We provide study modules, practice exams, progress tracking, and readiness assessments for professional certifications including CRISC, CISM, CISSP, and Security+.

We're here to help you prepare for certification exams. We're not a test center, we're not affiliated with any certification body, and we don't administer actual exams.

Your Account

To use certain features, you'll create an account through our authentication provider. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone accesses your account because you shared your password, that's on you — not us.

One account per person. Don't share accounts or create multiple accounts to get around any limitations.

Our Content

All study materials, practice questions, module content, and coaching resources on TheCertCoach are our original work. They're designed to help you prepare for certification exams by teaching you how the exam expects you to think.

That said, our content is educational material for exam preparation. It's not a copy of any actual exam, and we don't guarantee that our questions will appear on the real thing. Certification bodies update their exams regularly, and while we do our best to stay current, there may be differences between what we cover and what shows up on exam day.

No Guarantees on Exam Outcomes

We'll give you the best preparation we can. We'll tell you honestly whether we think you're ready. But we can't guarantee you'll pass your exam. Exam outcomes depend on many factors — your effort, test-day conditions, the specific questions you get — and no prep course can promise a pass.

If our readiness check says you're not ready and you book the exam anyway, that's your call.

Acceptable Use

TheCertCoach is for your personal study use. Here's what you can't do:

  • Don't redistribute our content. Don't copy, screenshot, or share our modules, practice questions, or assessments with others. This includes posting them online, sharing them in study groups, or distributing them in any format.
  • Don't scrape or automate. Don't use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to download or access our content programmatically.
  • Don't reverse-engineer. Don't try to extract our question banks, algorithms, or underlying data.
  • Don't misrepresent. Don't claim our content is yours, or pass it off as official exam material from any certification body.

Availability

We aim to keep TheCertCoach available and reliable, but we're a small operation. We don't guarantee 100% uptime, and there may be occasional downtime for maintenance or updates. We won't be liable for any disruption to your study schedule caused by service interruptions.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll note the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of TheCertCoach after changes means you accept the new terms.
